Here's a couple great ways to support HSBC without it costing you anything!!!!!!
If you order from Amazon.com you can help support the shelter animals by going to AmazonSmile.com & selecting 'Humane Society of Burnett County, Inc' as your chosen charitable organization. When you do that, Amazon will donate 0.5% of your total purchase to the shelter. Please spread the word to your friends family that order from Amazon.com also.
'WALK FOR A DOG'
If you walk or ride a bike with your dog there is an app for your smart phone that keeps track of the walks & donates to the shelter of your choice according to how many people walk & how far they walk. You can even use the app if you don't have a dog to walk with & they'll still donate. You can learn more about it & get the app at www.WoofTrax.com.
Thank you for your support!
Here are some things we could use:
Hi, my name is Marvel!
Marvel is a 9-month-old German Shepard mix, who came to our Shelter as a stray. Marvel is a happy go lucky boy, but definitely needs a good deal of training as he's still very much so puppy. Where he's getting better at jumping on people, he needs work particularly with being mouthy, such as play biting. It seems he just wasn't taught anything growing up, but it's always high time to teach a dog new tricks! He's still young and is still finding his way in life, but one thing for sure is that he's always eager to learn. He has such a great attitude and doesn't let anything get him down. Because of his youth and breed, Marvel would do best in a home with a big yard to run around in and with no small children.
Hi, my name is Justice!
Justice is a fun loving 12-week-old kitten, who came to our Shelter at two weeks of age with siblings Liberty, Freedom, and mother America. Lovely mother America was the first to be adopted, and with Liberty and Freedom both spoken for, that leaves this little guy wondering when he will find the right fit for him. From the beginning, Justice has always been a Mama's boy. If America was near, Justice was soon to follow - and what a great mentor he had in his life! He is a gentle and laid-back kitten and has always played nice with siblings. Sometimes he's the one sacked out taking a nap while his sisters wrestle. Perhaps just conserving energy for the next match! What's most notable about this boy is his coat, he's a short hair with a soft peaches and cream color, but with more white than orange. He's simply an irresistible kitten wo would do great in with most any household.
